Episode 5, Return of the Jedi was the last Star Wars film in the story line to be made, but it is not the last film in the story line. The last three films have yet to be made.

Return of the Jedi was released in 1983 and was another big success at the box office. The three flims soon became a cult, with hunderds of fans all over the world.

The story Line
|
|
|
|
|
After Luke rescues Han Solo and Leia from the evil gangster Jabba the Hutt, he returns to the (daga a bar) system to complete his Jedi training. The rebel fleet meet together and begin their battle plan for their attack on the new Death Star. Luke turns himself over to the imperials and is taken before the Emperor and Darth Vader. There is another duel between Luke and Vader this time Luke wins.

As Vader is defeated the Emperor starts using the power of the Dark Side of the force to destroy Luke. Vader is unable to stand by and watch his son die so he turns on the Emperor and wins but dies later of his injuries. Luke escapes from the Death Star before it is destroyed and peace is restored to the galaxy.
